Stop Starting over on guitar

A structured training program designed to help you finally make real progress—without guesswork or wasted time

  1. Clear path from beginner → confident player

  2. Guided sessions that keep students on track

  3. Designed for busy families and adults

Why most guitar lessons don’t work

Most people don’t quit guitar because they lack talent.
They quit because the structure isn’t there.

  • Lessons feel random

  • Progress is unclear

  • Practice becomes frustrating

  • Motivation fades

That’s where most students get stuck.

A better way to learn guitar

At Reading School of Guitar, we don’t just teach songs—we run a structured training program designed to build real skill over time.

Students move through a clear system that develops:

  • Rhythm and timing

  • Chord fluency

  • Lead playing and creativity

  • Confidence playing with others

This is how progress becomes consistent—and enjoyable.

What students experience

“My daughter’s experience has been phenomenal at Reading School of Guitar. She describes it as “cool” which is a huge compliment coming from a 13, almost 14 year old. She always wants to attend classes and says the group plays fun games to help them learn new skills. In Rock Lab Jon listens to what the individuals in the group are interested in, song/genre-wise, to plan which songs they will learn, and her experiences on stage have given her more confidence and opportunities to play the guitar she would have otherwise never had! As parents we are very pleased with our daughter’s experience at Reading School of Guitar and how much she has learned in a short amount of time!”

-Stephanie L M, Parent

“Attending the Reading School of Guitar has been a transformative experience for my daughter, who is usually shy and hesitant to try new things. Since joining, she has blossomed beautifully! Jon, the instructor, is a phenomenal communicator, making each class enjoyable and engaging for her. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn guitar in a supportive and nurturing environment!”

-Emmanuel P, Parent

“Reading School of Guitar has been such a positive experience for my son! The small group lessons have given him the ability to learn and grow with his peers. Jon shares his love of music with all of his students, while allowing them to grow and discover what they love the most about playing guitar.”

-Joy B, Parent
