Jon Taubman
Owner/Guitar Instructor
Jon grew up in the Northshore of Massachusetts where he started playing flute in 4th grade. The flute progressed to guitar in middle school and then became a healthy obsession in high school. At the University of Wisconsin, he received a bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and Jazz Arranging. As his musical journey progressed, he realized the power of music as a universal language that celebrates creativity, culture, and community. Today, he is building a new community sharing his experience, knowledge, and passion for teaching music at the Reading School of Guitar.
Nathaniel Plusquellic
Administrative/Marketing Coordinator
Growing up in the Greater Boston area, Nathaniel Plusquellic graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations. He began his love for music when he started to play the drums in the 4th grade and still plays to this day. Some of Nathaniel's favorite music genres are Rock, Alternative, and Hip Hop.
Emily Narahara
Marketing Specialist
Hailing from the Boston area, Emily enjoys hiking, art, puzzles, and origami in her free time. She graduated from SNHU in 2022 with a degree in communications and joined the Reading School of Guitar team in 2023. Emily’s favorite music genres are indie, blues, folk rock, and rock.
Adrian Sugrim
Guitar Instructor
Originally from Queens, New York, Adrian graduated from York College with a bachelor's degree in Music Performance and a minor in Education. Adrian is an educator in Boston Public Schools and has been working in classrooms for over 10 years. He enjoys creating music cover videos and playing multiple styles of music, including R&B, Rock, J-Rock, Hip Hop, Bollywood, Improv, and Looping.
Robert Murphy
Guitar Instructor
Robert Murphy is a Boston-based multi-instrumentalist and educator. Robert started playing guitar and drums at age 12 and has been playing ever since! After attending Walnut Hill School for the Arts and New England Conservatory, he has since been teaching, playing, and composing. With backgrounds in R&B, Rock, and Jazz he brings a wide variety of viewpoints and knowledge as well as a passion for sharing his love of guitar and music.
Graham Nasson
Guitar Instructor/Improv Specialist
Grew up in a musical household, with music being a core element of fulfillment, discovery and community. Beginning on drums as a child and later moving to piano and guitar, Graham has experience recording and performing a range of contemporary styles. He aims to walk the line between creative expression and technical proficiency.
Cameron Myers
Classroom Aide
Cam is a thoughtful and creative multi-instrumentalist and a student at Reading Memorial High School where he plays in the Marching Band and Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Cam is a member of our Rock Lab band, Revery, and also writes, records, and produces his own music. He supports our teachers as a classroom aide and helps create a positive, focused learning environment. Outside the classroom, Cam also helps develop teaching resources and supports a variety of administrative tasks around the school. His versatility, reliability, and musical curiosity make him a valuable part of our community.
